Alison Wood / Fairytale Endings Aside CD packaging. Alison was open to design ideas for her CD entitled Fairytale Endings Aside. I wanted to come up with a romantic image where age is of no matter. When presented with the idea of a ferris wheel for the cover, a romantic symbol, blurring the line between young and old, Alison was on board. I explored different stock photos of ferris wheels until I found one we were both pleased with. Color alterations were necessary, as well as a treatment to give it a feeling of nostalgia. Jorscan branding and CD design Jorscan is an original. That’s why his logo had to be too. We wanted to recreate a 70s feel without using a font that’s we’ve all seen before, so I custom-designed the lettering, and used browns and oranges to give a nod to the era.
