They believe in a sense of community – the idea that people should be able to approach their neighbors and make connections. We wanted to achieve that feeling with the logo, while keeping a modern look and feel.
THE NAKED PIANO Gary Girouard wanted a simple, elegant look for the packaging of his ELEMENTS CD. We utilized the same photo of a piano that Gary first used to brand his Naked Piano CDs years ago. CHANGING THE BALANCE Maryland Public Television Role: Art Director and UI Designer I was hired by FableVision to design a website for Maryland Public Television, to be used in schools as a learning tool for Middle School aged children about climate change and global warming. A few mood boards were created, used to help guide the client in directing us with what look and feel would fit their vision best. The logo and icons then evolved as part of my design. The user has two choices of how to navigate through the digital assets, videos and animations - the main navigation, or through a mock Blog, written by a fictional character who has gone to Kenya to learn more about climate change. RUCKUS MEDIA GROUP Role: UI Designer I was hired by FableVision to be the lead designer for the Ruckus Media Group iPhone and iPad applications. The project included working on a team to design the user interfaces, laying out the readalong screens, and creating designs for the text boxes. I was also hired to design a brand icon to be used for all of the apps, as well as a “Giveaway” promotional logo to be placed all of the start screens. © 2011 Ruckus Media Group Inc.
